Head coach Kyle Beard has revitalized the Faulkner men’s soccer program, turning it into a challenger in the Southern States Athletic Conference, arguably the NAIA’s toughest. The Eagles have been to the conference tournament the past two seasons, and have carved out recent victories over nationally-ranked teams. The growth of the program under Beard’s watch should continue, as Faulkner looks to become an annual post-season participant, both at the conference and national levels. With home matches played at Billy D. Hilyer Stadium, the atmosphere is second to none in the SSAC.
